Venusia Jewelry is made with a mix of durable stainless steel coated with 18K Gold Plated Stainless Steel and Gold-filled jewelry composed of a solid layer of gold bonded to Sterling Silver. 

Although created with the best materials to ensure high quality and durability, gold filled/plated jewelry will not last forever since it is not made of pure gold. However, if you follow all of the steps below and take care of your items, your Venusia Jewelry should look pristine for months and even years!

Below are tips that will make your jewelry last as long as possible.

STORAGE
Store your jewelry in a cool dry area and in an airtight space such as the velvet pouch or jewelry box that comes with every Venusia Jewelry order. Keep Venusia Jewelry away from extreme heat, humidity, and other chemicals in the air. 

CLEANING
Clean jewelry with a soft dry cloth made of cotton or fine fibers. Do not use chemical cleaners as they can remove the finish of your jewelry.

GENERAL CARE

1. As a general rule, jewelry should always be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.

2. We recommend removing jewelry of any kind when swimming, bathing, sleeping, or doing strenuous activity.

3. Do not let your jewelry come into contact with oils, lotions, perfume or hairspray. This will help keep jewelry clean and protect from damage such as abrasions and reduction of lustre. 

3. Remove jewelry before bed. Anklets, Bracelets, and Necklaces tend to get caught in the covers and tugging them off pressure the jewelry to break.

4. Avoid wearing your jewelry while exercising, as sweat can cause gold plated jewelry to tarnish. 

5. Make sure your jewelry is the last part of your getting ready process as this will help prevent jewelry from catching on your clothes and from getting mixed with makeup, lotions or perfumes.
